Frequently Asked Questions
Batches and joining
No, and this is worth being clear about.
The recorded years are not a lesser version of the course. They are the course, filmed in 4K and organised properly. Nothing was said in a live room that is missing from the recording.
What you do lose by joining later is the chance to have asked a question in that particular session — which is why the live hours from your start date onward matter.
Yes. The first cohort is mid-way through year one, so there is very little to catch up on — a position that will not exist for much longer.
Yes.
Everything from years one to three is in your portal from the day you enrol — recorded, indexed, and yours to work through at your own pace. You join the live Thursday sessions from wherever the class currently is.
There is no next batch, and that is deliberate.
I do not teach the same material twice. What has already been taught is recorded, indexed and waiting in your portal from the day you enrol. Teaching it again would mean spending my live hours repeating myself, when those hours could go into material that does not exist yet.
So there is nothing to wait for.
It also means something worth understanding: every live class you attend is new material. You are never sitting through a repeat for the benefit of a newer student.
Choosing a course
Yes. The pre-recorded courses run at your pace, so students often work through Practitioner while attending the live sessions of another programme.
No, you can skip the foundation if you feel you have a strong base
No. Every course is independent.
There is no Foundation material inside Practitioner. There is no Practitioner material inside Professional. Nothing repeats.
If you take all four, you never pay for the same lesson twice.
Not at Foundation.
You already know the vocabulary, and Foundation is built for someone who does not. Start at Practitioner — it is designed for exactly the gap you have, which is the distance between recognising terms and reading a chart.
Foundation if you are opening a chart for the first time.
Practitioner if you already know the vocabulary and freeze when a real chart is in front of you. For most people who have studied on their own, this is the right entry point.
Professional if you intend to practise.
Chanakya Geo-Jyotiṣa if you want to read nations, markets and leaders rather than individuals. That one sits apart from the others.

New programmes are announced to that list before they are announced publicly, and early-bird pricing goes to the list first. If you want a place in either of the courses above, be on it.
[Join the Monthly Note]
Yes. Two are in preparation:
Nakṣatras — a detailed programme on their application, which is one of the most requested subjects and one of the least well taught anywhere.
Vedic Vāstu — planned for 2027.
How the courses run
English
Yes. The Vedic Gurukul app, so you can watch on your phone — which is how most students actually get through a dense course, in the gaps rather than in one sitting.
The teaching platform where every course lives. Lessons are recorded in 4K, indexed by topic, and organised as a proper curriculum rather than a folder of video files.
Professional — Thursdays.
Chanakya Geo-Jyotiṣa — Tuesdays.
Course

Professional: 7 years, renewable.
Chanakya: 3 Years, renewable.
Nothing is lost. Every session is recorded in 4K and appears in vedic gurukul portal.
Students in different time zones, with businesses to run and families to manage, miss sessions regularly. The course is built on the assumption that they will.
Practical
Tell the desk how long you have been studying, what you can already do with a chart, and where you get stuck.
You will be told honestly which course fits — and if the honest answer is "start with a free webinar first," you will be told that instead. Nobody here will sell you a five-year programme you are not ready for.
Yes for 5 Year professional & Chanakya Geo Jyotisa , after completion
Yes. Charts are worked in the room, and questions are part of how the sessions run — that is the point of a live class rather than a recording.
Yes. Ask the desk and a rupee payment details.

You paid me with your time.
Time is the one currency nobody gets more of. You have spent some of yours here, and I do not take that lightly.
Two decades of this practice have been built on exactly that — people giving their attention first, and their trust afterwards. It is why there are clients and students in more than thirty countries.
Thank you. I hope it was worth the time.
