Vedic Vastu
Generic Vastu reads the building.
Vedic Vastu reads the building against the person living in it.

What is Vedic Vastu, and how is it different?
Vastu Shastra sets out principles for space — direction, proportion, the placement of elements. Those principles are real and we follow them.
What generic Vastu leaves out is you.
A grid applied to a building without the charts of the people inside it is a rule with no subject. It will be right for some households by accident and wrong for others by the same accident — and nobody can tell you which one you are.
Vedic Vastu starts from the chart. The compass comes second.
Why your last Vastu consultation did not work
You had it done. The entrance was checked. Directions were corrected. Something was moved, something was painted.
And the place still has not been good to you.
Here is the test. North is the direction of wealth — so should everyone keep their valuables in the north?
No. The lord of the north is Mercury. If Mercury is weak in your chart, putting your wealth there works against you, while putting your loan papers and debt records in that same corner works for you.
Same house. Same direction. Opposite instruction.
That is the whole difference, in six lines.
Six things that make Vedic Vastu different
It begins with your chart, not a compass
Direction is the last question, not the first. The chart decides what each direction means for you before a single measurement is taken.
Nothing gets demolished
In more than twenty years, Kaartik Gor has never told a client to pull down a villa. Because the reading starts from the chart, the answer is almost always a change you can actually make.
The whole household is read, not just the owner
A villa that suits the promoter can sit badly with his wife's chart, or his son's. If I am laying out your child's bedroom, why would I not use your child's chart? Generic Vastu never looks at your child at all.
Timing is part of the prescription
When a change is made matters as much as what is changed. Foundation, entrance, handover, moving in — each gets a muhūrta.
Every recommendation comes with its reasoning
You are told why, and what it should shift, so you can interrogate it before you spend.
Nothing is sold to you
No compulsory yantras, no pyramids, no crystals, no catalogue at the end. Where a remedy is genuinely needed it is named and explained — and it is never the reason the recommendation exists.
What happens in a Vedic Vastu consultation
Your charts first
Before anything is said about the building, your chart is prepared — and where the birth time is uncertain, rectified against the divisional charts. The household's charts are read alongside yours.
Then the property
Assessed on site where possible, from plans and measurements where it is not. New builds are read from the drawings, which is the cheapest point at which anything can change.
Then the changes, room by room
What to change, why, what it should shift, and when to do it. Not a list of principles left for you to interpret.
And follow-up while the work is done
Questions surface once a contractor is standing in the room. That is included.
Vedic Vastu for property developers
The cheapest moment to get this right is before the foundation. The most expensive is after handover.
Master-plan decisions are permanent
Plot orientation, entrance placement, water and fire zones, the position of the sales gallery. Nothing to get right at design stage; ruinous to correct later.
A unit that fights its buyer is a slow unit
A meaningful share of premium buyers in Dubai and India will walk from a layout they have been told is wrong, or bid under it. That shows up in your absorption rate whether or not anyone names the reason.
Chart-matching at point of sale
You cannot build every unit for a buyer you have not met. You can match a buyer to the right unit from the inventory you already hold. It turns a limitation into a closing tool, and no competing developer is offering it.
Complete discretion
No public association unless you want one. Some developers use this as a marketing asset. Others keep it entirely internal.
Scope and pricing
Scope is set by the property, not by a price list.
A four-bedroom villa, a factory floor and a forty-storey development are not the same piece of work — and pricing them as though they were is the first sign of generic advice.
Tell the helpdesk what you have and what stage it is at. You will get a scope and a figure.
Discretion
No names. No photos. No client list. Where a property is recognisable, it is never shown.
