How to plan your day with Vedic Astrology

What’s your understanding of a day? It has 24 hours, some of which you sleep away and the rest you work and play? You are not wrong, but a day planned according to Vedic Astrology offers a more compelling worth of time.

So, how to plan your day with Vedic Astrology? Look at the diagram below:

Sun Transit plan to your day

It depicts the Sun’s transit through the 12 houses of a birth chart; the left is a North Indian representation of a birth chart or horoscope, and the other South Indian. As you can see, Lagna or House Sign changes every two hours.

Can you see the division of hours and the movement of the Sun going counterclockwise through the Houses on this day based on the Vedic Astrology timetable?

A typical progression of Houses in a birth chart is counterclockwise in a North Indian chart and clockwise in a South Indian chart. Here the Sun seems to be moving every two hours in a counterclockwise manner through the Houses. It is not a literal transit as the Sun is not moving, but it appears as such from Earth. When you are seated in a stationary train, a moving train next to it makes you feel as if you are moving.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 6 am to 8 am. GOOD MORNING!

Sun is in the 12th House

Suppose sunrise is at 6 am. The day has begun full of java; it’s brimming with energy. The Sun is warming up, the birds, bees, and animals are alert, and Creation is in full gear. These hours are a fresh start, so use these hours to clear your mind, body, and soul. Meditation, prayers, or calming and energizing rituals like exercises are best done during this time. Remember, the 12th House is also about spirituality; the Sun is moving through it, lighting up your soul and mind.

Once you are done with the mind-body-soul tune-up, use these hours to complete your morning rituals: breakfast, bathing, and preparing yourself for the rest of the day.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 8 am to 10 am.

Sun is in the 11th House

10 am is when the Sun reaches the 11th House of Gains. You have a two-hour window to prep for it. This time window of 8 am to 10 am is the time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. An early start to the workday is a good discipline. Your mind is fresh, full of ideas and energy, and launching into minor and major tasks gains momentum.

You can also use this time to speak to friends (the 11th House signifies friends) and seek advice.

10-30am-11.30 am is a good time to sign agreements.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 10 am to 12 pm.

Sun is in the 10th House

The Sun is in Digbala (Directional Strength) in the 10th House, the House of Karma. It’s the peak activity hour, so make the most of it. By 11.30 am, set up your meetings, attend to critical correspondence and reach out to clients. However, do not use this time for conflict management because it might lead to challenges. Instead, use the Sun’s energies to speak to profitable clients, and it will help you achieve breakthroughs.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 12 pm to 2 pm.

Sun is in the 9th House

It is the best time for completing demanding tasks. Remember, the Sun’s transit through the 11th and 10th Houses of Gains and Career is a critical time window to accomplish big tasks. These are full Houses related to work and success, so do not become lethargic during this period, and if you are working from home, do not take a power nap during this part of the day. It’s a highly productive time, and any lapses will make your agni negative. It’s like transferring a pot of water on a rolling boil to a smaller flame and slowing down the water’s energy.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 2 pm to 4 pm.

Sun is in the 8th House

It’s time to begin the clearing house tasks. The bulk of your work should have been attempted by now. The big-ticket items would all have been attended to, and now is the time for a bit of review and reflection, tidying up edges and lining up the details that may have been missed. It’s still a productive time, but the intensity is slowly loosening its grip. Have you noticed the energy shift in team meetings in the mornings and late afternoons? When you start brainstorming during this time, it’s like trying to race a car past the home stretch.

Use this time to talk to family and line up your ducks for an early start the next day.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 4 pm to 6 pm.

Sun is in the 7th House

Surya is already in the 7th House and is in astha status (setting). Your plans now must be moved into the next day’s box to be tackled afresh. Clean up your day’s leftovers and pay heed to your energies, asking for a break.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 6 pm to 8 pm.

Sun is in the 6th House

It is time to shift from work to leisure. Pay attention to your mind and its slowing energies. Eat dinner by 8 pm. Even medical science has proven that late-night dinners are bad for health. The evolutionary reality is that our lifestyles have changed, but our bodies are still coded for a diurnal rhythm.

The more you delay eating your night meal, the more it harms you. It doesn’t digest. As the Sun sets, the ojas, your body’s vital energy, is tamped down. By eating late, you are forcing the ojas to work beyond its schedule. Many lifestyle diseases are rooted in poor eating habits.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 8 pm to 10 pm.

Sun is in the 5th House

Are you reaching home by 10 pm? You will face trouble.

By 10 pm, you should be ready for bed.

It’s no secret why people keeping long hours have issues in their personal lives because they have little time for their spouse or children. Of course, there are exceptions for people whose jobs call for night shifts and their rhythm is reversed.

PLAN YOUR DAY: HOW YOU CAN SYNC YOUR YOGAS FOR MAXIMUM BENEFIT

You can synchronize your work with yogas and positive Houses to enjoy desired outcomes.

  • Let’s say you have Simhasana Yoga, where the 1st Lord is in the 10th House. It blesses the native with success in a profession, authority, and fame.
  • If you have a great yoga forming in any House, use it to your advantage by undertaking activities during that time frame. It is logical to undertake them during morning hours unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as talking to clients across different time zones.
  • What if there are no planets in the morning houses? Does that mean you don’t work? No. Identify the Lords of the Houses. Where are they placed? Do they have a Drishti of a House or planet? Is it a positive or negative drishti? Adjust your tasks according to priority.
  • Know your solid House/s and use that window of time to make the most of your plans. Avoid undertaking essential tasks during the period of weak or afflicted Houses.
  • Once you get the hang of this, you will know which zones of the day are good, and your karma will boost your luck.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR DAY WITH VEDIC ASTROLOGY: 3.30AM-4AM BRAHMA MUHURTA.

Remember the 5 am club that’s packed with millionaires and billionaires? They are the early risers. When you wake up before sunrise, the hours of the Brahma Muhurta begin at 3.30 am, and your day goes well because you are in sync with the cosmic rhythm.

PLAN YOUR DAY: A STUDY OF DONALD TRUMP

USA President Donald Trump

Trump was born during a perfect eclipse yoga, like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The latter was the epitome of spirituality, but it’s a different ballgame when you are a businessman with political ambitions.

One yoga associated with Trump’s Arudha Lagna (AL) is debilitated Chandra with Ketu. Chandra or Moonmoon is all about emotions, and the debilitation creates problems with communication. In Trump’s case, it’s not that he can’t communicate; instead, he does so with impunity. He says the wrong stuff and is ruthless and radical.

Also, when AL associates with Kendra, it leads to extreme image-consciousness, and Trump is nothing if not image-conscious.

Remember his tweets?

  • He tweeted at odd hours.
  • His Mars/Mangal in Lagna makes him combative as soon as he gets out of bed!
  • Track his tweets, and you will see the pattern aligning with his yogas.
  • Can he be lethal? Absolutely. He was born during a perfect eclipse, and these people are radical.
  • Don’t take this guy lightly, and don’t write him off. He can bounce back!

Now that you know how Vedic Astrology can help you make the most of your 24 hours, put these lessons into practice. It will change the way you feel, think and live.
